West Doesn't Give Obama Credit For Killing Bin Laden

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Republican Congressman Allen West apparently doesn't think too much of President Barack Obama's decision to take credit for giving the final order to kill terrorist Osama bin Laden.

West took to his Facebook page to slam the President Friday over his dealings with Iran, but also took issue with President Obama taking credit for giving the order to end Osama's days on Earth.

"Please stop with the Osama bin Laden line, US Navy Seals double-tapped that rascal," Congressman West wrote about the death of bin Laden.

Obama has consistently given credit to the Navy SEALS who carried out the raid to kill bin Laden, which he vowed to do during his first campaign in 2008. He also never referred to bin Laden in such a term like "rascal."

West also said that President Obama prefers to apologize when dealing with "despots, dictators, autocrats, and theocrats." He also claimed that President Obama's policies have only resulted in "the expansion of radical Islamist dominance in the Middle East."

Congressman West has made his career on fiery rhetoric that pushes the boundaries on many fronts.

Most recently though, he retreated from what would have been his Congressional district under the new redistricting maps so he could instead run in a more GOP-friendly district nearby.
