MIAMI (CBSMiami) – The Miami Heat will have to take on the Portland Trailblazers minus one of the team’s stars.

The Heat tweeted out just after 3 p.m. that power forward Chris Bosh was not with the team in Portland and will miss the next two games due to the death of his grandmother.

Miami is set to play Portland Thursday night and play at Utah Friday night.

Without Bosh, more of the scoring load will fall on LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. The Heat are likely to start Udonis Haslem in his place both against Portland and Utah.
