Motive Murky In Miami Gardens Shooting
MIAMI GARDENS (CBSMiami) – Miami Gardens police are still trying to figure out what led to deadly shooting Monday afternoon.
Lemuel Rosario, who is charged with first degree murder in the death of Raul Idrovo, is scheduled to make his first appearance before a judge on Tuesday.
According to witnesses Idrovo, 28, was being chased by Lemuel, 31, when he slammed into a guardrail in the 46-hundred block of NW 156th Street. Lemuel then ran into Idrovo's car.
Idrovo then got out of his car and started arguing with Lemuel. According to police, that's when Lemuel fired a handgun several times through the windshield of his vehicle before he got out.
Lemuel then fired again at Idrovo, several rounds struck him in the head. As Idrovo lay dying in the street, Lemuel grabbed a bag from his car and walked away. He was picked up by arriving police officers.
Idrovo reportedly lived about a block from where shooting occurred.
Police spokeman Sgt. Bill Bamford said their detectives are still trying to determine the relationship between Idrovo and Lemuel.
