Feds Searching For Serial Bank Robber

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBSMiami) – The FBI has released photographs of a robber who struck a TD Bank in Boca Raton and who agents believe may have targeted seven other banks in the past few months.

According to the FBI, the robber went into the bank and demanded money from a teller while other customers were in the bank. Federal agents didn't disclose how much money was taken during the robbery, but no one was injured.

The FBI said the man in the surveillance picture may have been responsible for other bank robberies including ones in: Amtrust and Valley Bank in Hollywood; Regent Bank in Davie; TD Bank and Bank of America in Fort Lauderdale; Comerica Bank in Boca Raton; and Iberia Bank in Pompano Beach.

If you have any information about the robberies or know the identity of the robber, call the FBI at 305-944-9101 or CrimeStoppers at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
