Miami Heat Launch New Free App & Early Bird Renewals
MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami Heat season ticket holders can now get a jump on next year's season.
The team announced that the 2012-13 Season Ticket renewal campaign is underway and the deadline for Early Bird Renewal is March 5th while the overall renewal deadline is March 19, 2012.
Season ticket holders are encouraged to renew by the Early Bird deadline to enjoy a number of benefits including no ticket price increase on the first two rounds of the 2012 NBA Playoffs, food and drink credits tiered by season ticket holder tenure and a seven-month extended payment plan.
Also on Sunday, the team officially launched their free app for Apple iPhones and Android phones.
The Miami Heat app gives users a live game night chat feature; access to their new online community forum "The Inferno"; a video gallery featuring practice, post-game, community relations and team original video features; links to purchase tickets directly from the user's smartphone and more.
The Heat app even contains a "Noisemaker" feature offering the "Let's Go HEAT!" chant and a variety of other sports-related sounds.
