Swim Advisory Issued For Several Broward Beaches
How To Escape A Rip Current
BROWARD (CBSMiami) – There’s a water warning in effect at several Broward County beaches.
A swimming advisory was issued late Friday for the following beaches: Hallandale Beach Boulevard at A1A in Hallandale Beach, Custer Street at A1A in Hollywood, Harrison Street at A1A in Hollywood and Dania Beach at the Pier.
The swim advisory was issued after beach water samples collected at these areas had higher than state recommended levels of bacteria that could cause gastroenteritis.
New testing and results are expected on Monday and will be posted at www.floridashealth.com/beachwater.
