Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson..For President?

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Can you smell what the President…is cooking?

Those very words may be uttered if Miami's own Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson follows through on the comments he recently gave in an interview.

Apparently, the Rock has his eyes on a bigger prize than the WWE Championship or a blockbuster movie.

"Right now, the best way that I can impact the world is through entertainment," Johnson said, according to Reuters. One day, and that day will come, I can impact the world through politics. The great news is that I am American, therefore I can become President."

Johnson might have the intimidation factor settled if he was in the Oval Office. He stands 6'5" and weighs around 275 pounds, which would make him one of the biggest presidents in history, should he ever decide to run and win.

It's not as far-fetched as some may think either. Johnson has already become a household name through the WWF/WWE, had multiple hit movies, and has written a New York Times number one best seller in the past.

Plus, former pro wrestler Jesse "The Body" Ventura has already laid the groundwork for a wrestler in politics.

And, lest we forget, Ronald Reagan made his name as an actor far before he ever ventured into politics and the presidency.

That said, it would be quite interesting to see "The Rock" stand in front of Congress and threaten to layeth the smacketh down on them…or threaten to drop a people's elbow on an opposing world leader.
