MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Three people were hurt Friday morning in a chain reaction accident, when an SUV apparently hit a pedestrian on West Dixie Highway, only to he struck in turn by a Miami-Dade bus. The pedestrian and 2 people in the SUV were hospitalized.

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said the SUV and the pedestrian were involved in an accident at NE 148th street and West Dixie, and while the SUV was apparently stopped after that accident, it was struck by a Miami-Dade transit bus. A van was also involved in the accident.

Two drivers involved in the accident were airlifted to Ryder Trauma Center, while the pedestrian was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in Hollywood.

Police are still investigating details of the accident.

Do you not read your headline and story? 3 Hurt When SUV Hits Woman, Then Hit By Bus. WHAT? were the three also hit by the bus? or was it just the woman? or was it the SUV that hit the bus? more questions than answers.

Try taking a breath when reading the first line. and what’s “only to HE struck in turn by a Miami-Dade bus. The pedestrian and 2 people in the SUV were hospitalized.” WHAT? you meant only to BE struck, and two people. I would think at least the journalism 101 class is a requirement, but I guess not. wow.
