Three Killed In Broward Boulevard Accident

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – A single car accident in Plantation early Saturday morning led to the death of three people and a fourth person possibly facing charges.

It began around 4:30 a.m. on Broward Boulevard when two women in a car slammed into a tree near the intersection of NW 69th Avenue, according to The Sun-Sentinel. The women, both in their 20s, both got out of the car and that's when a concerned driver pulled over to see if they needed help.

As the trio was standing outside their vehicles, a car driven by a Plantation man slammed into them, according to police. One of the women died on the scene. The second woman and the man who had stopped to help were both taken to Broward General Medical Center where they died.

The driver of the second car was taken to Westside Regional Medical Center; no word on the extent of his injuries.

Police have not released the names of those who died or the injured.

The Sun-Sentinel contributed to this report.
