Media Speculates Casey Anthony May Be In Palm City

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Has Casey Anthony's hiding spot been found?

Several media outlets have reported that Anthony, who has remained out of sight since her acquittal in the death of her daughter Caylee, may have been living in a house next to a church in Palm City.

Wednesday evening several media outlets, which converged on the Cross Church of Palm City to try to catch of glimpse of Anthony, may have spotted her passing by a window of the home.  The woman had blonde hair in a bob haircut, similar to what Anthony was wearing in two videos which appeared online in the last month.

Anthony, who is serving one year of parole for a check fraud charge, denied during a meeting with her parole officer that she leaked the videos and claimed her computer had been hacked.

Around 8 p.m., several cars and SUVs were spotted speeding away from the church and house which led reporters on the scene to speculate that if the woman was Anthony, her location had been comprised and she was being moved.

So why this church?

The Daily Beast website reports that a private investigator for Anthony's defense team, Jerry Lyons, lives just a few miles away in Port St. Lucie and attends services at the church which serves the community with ministry and outreach.

The website reports that the church's pastor Steve Camps neither denied nor confirmed if he had ministered to Anthony.  It adds that calls to Lyons went unanswered.

It is important to note that no law enforcement agency or anyone connected with Anthony has confirmed or denied that she was in fact in Palm City and the speculation that she was is coming only from several media outlets.
