Pompano Beach Pedestrian Killed By Amtrak Train

POMPANO BEACH (CBSMiami) – A person is dead after being struck by an Amtrak train in Pompano Beach early Tuesday evening.
The person was struck by the train near the 800 block of Northwest 33rd Street. No one on board the train was injured.
Amtrak Director of Marketing Bonnie Arnold told CBS4 News that the fatality would delay travel on Amtrak and Tri-Rail while police investigate.
