S. Fla. Swimwear Line Gives Back To The Community

MIAMI (CBS4) - Say "bye bye" to baggy board shorts, and hello to the sexy Sporty Square.

A South Florida based swimwear line called BodyJock is fast becoming the "go to" suits for buff beachgoers.

BodyJock is created by local designer Robert Peters, who spent 20 years in the not for profit business around South Florida.

"For over 20 years I served the not-for-profit community locally for people with disabilities and also food distribution to the poor," Peters said.

He and his partner Tyler Molinari, owner of Porsche Models, decided to promote Robert's swimwear line and still give back to the community by donating profits from the swimwear to local charities.

"I saw it and knew it was marketable and something out of South Florida that we needed," said Molinari.

"One of the things I wanted was to give on a higher capacity and give back in another way," Peters said. "We cannot be more excited about this new swimwear line we started. It really envelopes and takes the Miami Art Deco design and combines it with male masculinity--  and gives it  a whole new look."

The nylon and lycra blend suits come in 4 different colors. Red, navy, black, and yellow in the 2 styles Sports Square and Bikini Brief. The suits range in price from $39-$49. Two dollars of every swimsuit goes to local charities.
