News & Views – Miami Lakes Mayor Explains Imposed Curfew Following Melee

Miami Lakes Mayor Michael Pizzi discusses the Flash Mob that descended on his city Christmas night.

Pizzi says the melee was organized on Facebook by teens who do not live in the city. Pizzi talks about the teenage curfew and increased security now in place at Main Street in Miami Lakes, home to restaurants, shops and a mega-screen movie theater.

Pizzi points out that Miami Lakes was recently named one of the best cities in the country by the Travel Channel. Pizzi says Miami Lakes will do all in its power to keep Main Street a safe attraction for South Florida families.

    relatively hrmaless illegal drugs.Is it the drugs that are relatively hrmaless (I would argue that they are very harmful) or their proportional use to tobacco (Tobacco use causes far more health problems than illicit drugs).But I do take your general point the tobacco companies have enormous influence and use this to their advantage, even the in knowledge that their product kills.
