Disney's Magic Kingdom To Stay Open 24 Hours

LAKE BUENA VISTA (CBSMiami/AP) – Mickey Mouse and friends will be working over time to celebrate 2012, a leap year.

Disney has announced that it will keep two of its theme parks open for 24 hours straight.

The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World near Orlando and Disneyland in Anaheim, California will open at 6 a.m. local time on Feb. 29 and remain open until 6 a.m. March 1.

The company announced the leap year schedule on New Year's Eve, shortly before midnight.
