Man Fatally Hit By Car Crossing Southbound I-95
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A man trying to help his cousin on the side of Interstate 95 was struck and killed by a car Thursday night.
Witnesses tell CBS4 News that the man, identified as Anelus Arre, 62, was attempting to cross the southbound lanes of I-95 just south of Broward Boulevard to help his cousin, whose car was stalled in the emergency lanes.
The car that struck Arre remained at the scene.
The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating.
