Driver, 71, Dies After Lauderhill Crash

LAUDERHILL (CBS4)- A 71-year-old woman who was involved in a single-vehicle car crash that forced fire rescue crews to extricate her from her car died.

Chopper4 was over the scene late Friday morning just about in Lauderhill on Inverrary Boulevard and Northwest 44th Street.

According to Lauderhill Fire Rescue, a female driver hit a pole and crews had to extricate her from the vehicle.

She was unresponsive when crews rushed her to hospital.

The woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.
