BOCA RATON (CBSMiami) – One person suffered minor injuries early Friday morning after a car plunged into a murky South Florida canal.

According to the Boca Raton Fire Rescue Department, a car was located in a canal at 400 West Camino Gardens Boulevard around 5:45 a.m.

When fire rescue crews arrived, the black Dodge Challenger was halfway submerged in the water with its side up against a sea wall.
