Search For Missing Orlando Mother Expands

ORLANDO (CBSMiami/AP) — Efforts to find a missing Orlando area woman who disappeared last month have expanded to Kissimmee.

Family and friends are now distributing fliers in the nearby city to help find Michelle Parker, 33, who has not been seen or heard from since November 17. The same day she, along with her ex-fiance Dale Smith, appeared on a previously-recorded episode of “The People’s Court”. Her abandoned SUV was found the next day.

Last week investigators confirmed that they recovered Parker’s cell phone. They declined, however, to say where it was found or what information they may have taken from it.  Parker’s family members hope a text message or a phone call will lead investigators to more information on her disappearance.

The couple appeared on the reality show to resolve a dispute over a $5,000 engagement ring. Police consider Smith, who refused to take a polygraph test, their prime suspect.
