Marlins Reveal 90% Completed Stadium Tuesday
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – After Tuesday, the wrapping will be put on the new Marlins ballpark and no one will see the inside until the team inaugurates the stadium with exhibition games against the New York Yankees at the end of March.
The Marlins held their final media tour of the facility that the team said is now 90 percent complete.
The team said that the project is on-time and on-budget, which is a semblance of good news for taxpayers footing the bill for the stadium.
The team said that the MVP Suites, Diamond Club seats and Championship Suites are already sold out for next season and that just 20 of 296 seats remain in the Dugout Clubs behind the first and third base line.
The Marlins will announce the club's Taste of Miami partners that will feature Miami's strong brands for fans to enjoy at the new stadium.
