PLANTATION (CBSMiami) – A flat bed truck which rolled over on the Florida Turnpike has snarled traffic for miles.
The driver of the truck, which was outfitted with a bucket lift, was reportedly headed south on the Turnpike when he lost control just north of I-595.
The truck careened onto its side and crashed into the median guard rail, blocking both northbound and southbound lanes.
Firefighters from Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue, Plantation Fire and Davie Fire Rescue worked together to clear the scene. At noon, only two southbound lanes and two northbound lanes were open to traffic.
The Florida Highway Patrol said there were no serious injuries.
