Ex-Dolphin David Boston Arrested

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Former Miami Dolphins wide receiver David Boston was arrested in Boca Raton on a single count of aggravated battery charge.

According to Boca Raton Police, Boston was allegedly drinking with friends before he allegedly punched a woman twice in the face.

Boston was drinking with two women, and according to the arrest report, drank a bottle of vodka, a bottle of wine, and took unknown pills.

He then allegedly became combative as he tried to pull one of the women outside of the house.

Boston "with a closed fist" punched one of the women twice in the head, the police report stated. The victim's friend said she was calling police and he then fled, according to Boca Raton Police.

The victim told police that Boston had been staying at her house for the past six weeks, but has been "strictly friends with Boston for several years and just wanted to help him out." She told police Boston was asked and agreed to move out.

Boca Raton Police said the victim received stitches to a cut above her left eyebrow and had swelling and bruising to the left side of her forehead and face.
