Coldest Air Of The Season Is On The Way

MIAMI (CBS4) -- The coldest air of the season is on the way.

A strong cold will move across all of South Florida by Tuesday morning. Lower humidity and a cooler breeze will take hold of our weather for the rest of the week.

CBS 4 Chief Meteorologist David Bernard says the 80 plus degree days are gone for now.

By Wednesday, another reinforcing shot of cold air will bring some of the chilliest readings of the season. Inland areas can expect lows in the lower 50s both Wednesday and Thursday mornings. A few upper 40s may be possible in the coldest spots.

Morning lows will warm some by the weekend and afternoon highs will be pleasant in the upper 70s.

It will remain cool through the end of the week.
