With some agencies staying open and some closed, it is hard to keep track.

We’ve made it easier by putting together a list of agencies that will be opened or closed in observance of the federal holiday. Remember, individual local governments may still offer some services on the holiday. If you have a question, contact them directly.

Miami-Dade:

Government: County offices and City Government offices will be closed.

Transit – Regular schedule (including Tri-Rail)

Garbage Collection- Regular schedule, most communities

Malls: Open

Schools: Closed

Banks: Most are Closed

Post Offices: Closed, only Express Mail delivery

Libraries: Closed

Broward:

Government: County offices and City Government will be closed.
