TS Sean Weakening Quickly

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Tropical Storm Sean is continuing to weaken as it moves away from the island nation of Bermuda.

At 4 p.m., the system was about 300 miles northeast of Bermuda.  Sean's maximum sustained winds dropped to 50 mph.  Tropical storm force winds extended 175 miles from Sean's center.

Sean was moving to the northeast at 30 mph and the National Hurricane Center said this motion is expected to continue for the next couple of days.

The storm is expected to become a post-tropical system by Friday night.
