Storms Move Out, Cool Refreshing Air Moves In

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- It's time to finally put those umbrellas away, go outside and enjoy South Florida's first cold front of the season.

After 6 days of unrelenting rain and severe storms, South Florida skies are clear again as temperatures dropped into the low to mid 60s this morning. It's dry, breezy and simply beautiful with low humidity.

Thursday's forecast calls for mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s and a pleasant breeze. And it will likely be even cooler tonight as temperatures will drop into the high 50s in some locations.

Friday will remain mild and sunny with daytime highs around 79 and overnight lows possibly dipping down into the mid 50s. This weekend as High Pressure builds in, afternoon highs will warm up slightly to low 80s with plenty of sunshine.
