MIAMI (CBSMiami) –Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas will set sail in January from Fort Lauderdale on the largest gay cruise in history.
It’s the second year in a row Los Angeles-based travel company Atlantis Events has chartered the ship for this event.
The 7-night Caribbean cruise will depart from Fort Lauderdale on January 29th.
Last year’s “gay cruise”, also billed as the world’s largest, sold out in just three weeks, according to Atlantis Events.
The special sailing is expected to attract nearly 54-hundred gay and lesbian travelers from 32 countries.
Guests will be able to enjoy the ship’s amenities, including an Atlantic City-style boardwalk and three-story bar, plus cabaret acts and entertainment by leading gay performers.
