1 Dead, 2 In Custody, After Miami Motel Shooting

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Miami-Dade police have two men in custody after a deadly early morning shooting at a Miami motel.

According to police, the shooting took place just after 8 a.m. at the Orchid Inn at 7330 Northwest 36th St., just northwest of Miami International Airport.

The shooting took place outside of a room on the second floor, according to police, but they don’t have a motive.

An unidentified woman was also injured. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews took her to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. Her condition is not known.

    Until you do, because the usually judgmental until it’s not politically correct media, won’t call it out, I’ll stay out of those parts of town. I won’t patronize the establishments there.

    I’ll keep to the side of the street where things like these are not the norm; where if this behavior happens at all, it’s the exception rather than the rule.
