Divorce Final For Woman Who Hired Hitman To Kill Hubby

WEST PALM BEACH (CBSMiami/AP) – A Boynton Beach woman convicted of plotting to kill her husband is officially divorced.

On Friday, a divorce agreement between Dalia Dippolito and her now ex husband Michael was finalized. Michael Dippolito will get to keep the couple's Boynton Beach townhome under the divorce agreement. Each will keep assets they brought into the marriage and will be responsible for their own debts.

Dippolito, who was sentenced to 20 years in prison, is out on bond as she appeals her conviction.

Boynton Beach police said Dippolito offered a hit man, who was an undercover police officer, $3,000 to kill her husband in Aug. 2009.

Her attorney argued that Dippolito thought she was being recorded as part of a hoax to get her husband on a reality TV show.
