Plea Deal For Elderly Man Offering Fake Breast Exams

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami.com) – Prosecutors in Broward County reached a plea deal with a man who said was a doctor offering door-to-door breast exams.

According to prosecutors, Philip Winikoff, 81, offered the exams at a Lauderdale Lakes apartment complex in 2006. Police said he was able to assault two women before he was eventually arrested.

Winikoff had faced upwards of 55 yards in prison if he had been convicted of sexual battery and practicing medicine without a license.

According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the deal was reached Tuesday, but scheduling conflicts have prevented a judge from approving the deal.
