Rainy Weather, Storms To Continue Into Sunday

MIAMI (CBS4)- The stormy start to the weekend is rolling into Saturday as well. Off and on storms will continue to move across South Florida throughout the day and likely into Saturday night as well.

Some flooding is definitely possible and a flood watch is posted for the entire area into Sunday.

Since Friday night parts of South Florida has already seen 2 to 4 inches of rain.

Some of the storms will contain wind gusts of over 50 mph with frequent lightning.

In addition to the flood threat, there is a Gale Watch for Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic waters. Needless to say boating conditions are poor to not advised Saturday. There is also a high risk of rip currents for the Atlantic beaches.

So the best course of action is to find something to do indoors Saturday. The storminess may linger into Sunday with some improvement possible later in the day.
