Homecoming Week Arrives For FIU

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – The Florida International University Golden Panthers may have suffered their first loss of the season last Saturday, but the program can take a big step forward this weekend with a homecoming victory over the Duke Blue Devils.

The lead-up to the game will feature a host of activities this weekend leading up to Saturday’s game against Duke.

FIU is planning to bring in 10 food trucks to set up before the homecoming parade takes place starting at 2 p.m. Saturday. The food trucks will be lined up along Campus Drive on the Madique Campus in Miami starting at 1 p.m.

The culmination of the homecoming week activities, which includes a performance by the Wayans brothers, will be at 7 p.m. at FIU Stadium when the Golden Panthers look to improve their season record to 4-1.
