MIAMI BEACH (CBS4) – The FBI is asking for help from the public in finding a bank robber who ambushed two bank employees as they arrived at work early Wednesday morning.

The FBI has released two photographs of the robber inside the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 1901 Alton Road, Miami Beach.

He might be tough to recognize because most of his face is covered, and he’s wearing military style camoflauge jacket, pants and hat.

According to the FBI, the robber confronted two bank employees as they entered the bank around 7:45 a.m. He pulled out a gun and demanded money.

No customers were in the bank at the time of the robbery. The robber fired shots but no one was hit.

Money was taken, but the amount has not been released.

If anyone has information as to the identity of this bank robber, they are urged to call the FBI at (305) 944-9101 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at (305) 471-TIPS.
