Attorneys In Boulis Killing Want To Interview Jack Abramoff

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami.com) – Disgraced former Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff may have ties to the murder of slain Florida businessman Konstantinos "Gus" Boulis.

Defense attorneys for the three men accused of the crime said new FBI information has come to light that Abramoff business partner Adam Kidan indicated Abramoff's father may have had some role in the crime, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Boulis was killed during a power struggle over a casino cruise line. Abramoff and Kidan had previously pled guilty to fraud charges brought over their purchase of the cruise line.

The defense attorneys now want to question both Jack Abramoff and his father, though Abramoff's attorney said he has received no request to talk to the former Washington power player.

Prosecutors said they don't believe Abramoff or his father were involved in the murder.
