SeaWorld Raises Ticket Prices - Again

ORLANDO (CBS4) – It's going to cost you a bit more to see Shamu and his friends at SeaWorld in Orlando.

For the second time his year the theme park has raised ticket prices. The latest increase is two bucks for a single-day ticket which now costs $81.99. The park is also raising the prices of other ticket options. Among them, Florida resident passes that pair one-day visits to SeaWorld and the water park Aquatica have increased from $99 to $127.98.

SeaWorld spokesman Nick Gollattscheck says the park's guests still believe that SeaWorld and Aquatica are "outstanding values."

The marine park last raised tickets in November 2010, when the cost went from $78.99 to $79.99.

Gollattscheck noted the park offers discounts, including $10 off single-tickets purchased in advance.
