Key Largo Man Found Dead Beside U.S. 1

KEY LARGO (CBS4) – An autopsy will be performed to determine how a man found lying along U.S. 1 in Key Largo died.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office said the body of 52-year old Gerardo Ceballos was found around 7:45 a.m. Saturday near Mile Marker 99. His body was spotted, lying four feet off the roadway with keys, cell phone and wallet still in his possession.

The sheriff's office said there were not obvious signs of foul play or injury.
