Monroe Mother Charged With Att. Murder Of Child

MARATHON, Fla. (CBSMiami.com) – A Florida Keys mother faces attempted murder charges after a video allegedly showed her trying to hit her two-month old daughter with a piece of concrete.

The video, obtained by the Department of Children and Families, showed 19-year-old Elizabeth Garcia holding the child in one arm and a piece of concrete in the other hand.

When Garcia allegedly tried to hit the infant, two men nearby stepped in and stopped her, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s deputies had visited Garcia’s home in Marathon the same day the incident allegedly happened. At that time she pulled a knife in a confrontation with deputies and was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

    To whom it may concern

you can leave an unwanted child
    at any fire-station
    no question-ask

Better if they abort the baby. If a baby i unwanted don’t allow them to fester in foster care awainting a family for adoption for years. Hispanic babies wait in this country for years while while infertile women travel to Romania and Russia to adopt babies instead of adopting babies right here. Racism is alive and well in America.

Science tells us that nature reacts in unusual ways to extreme overpopulation.

This planet has gone from 1 billion people to 7 billion people in just 100 years.

Unfortunately the US governement has promoted a lot of that explosion simply by pumping billions of dollars of funding into poor countries.

another case of monroe cops not taking care of business. this woman (who needed help taking care of her child) threatened the police and they didn’t take precautions for the baby. shame on them…again! too many instances of cops trying to minimize the paperwork here!! but they love speeders and vagrants…easy money!
