FBI Looking For Cooper City Bank Robber

COOPER CITY (CBS4) - The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying a robber that hit a Cooper City Bank of America branch Thursday afternoon.

Agents say the masked man entered the bank on 5504 South Flamingo Road at approximately 4:05 p.m. and demanded money.  Authorities say he waved a gun at the teller.

The robber fled from the bank in a light blue Toyota Camry with a Florida license plate number S369YU. The FBI says the plate was stolen off of another car on Wednesday.

Agents say a red dye pack placed in the money bag activated and most likely stained the money, the inside of the car, and possibly the robber.

Anyone with information is urged to call the FBI at (305) 944-9101 or Broward Crimestoppers at (954) 493-TIPS.
