Venezuela's Chavez Back In Cuba For Cancer Treatments

HAVANA (CBS4) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez arrived in Cuba late Saturday to continue his cancer treatment.

Cuban President Raul Castro and Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez were on hand to greet Chavez as he came down the steps of the plane, his daughter at his side.

Chavez has said he will undergo more tests in Havana and possibly another round of chemotherapy, depending on the test results.

The Venezuelan leader had surgery in Havana in June to remove a baseball-sized tumor, but has not specified what kind of cancer he has. Fifty-seven-year-old Chavez said his trip to Cuba could last five days.

Last month, Chavez spent a week undergoing chemotherapy on the communist-led Caribbean island as the guest of his close friend and mentor, former Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
