Casey Anthony Mask Sells For Almost A Million Bucks

A latex rubber mask of Casey Anthony sold for almost a million dollars on Ebay on Wednesday.

According to the page, 105 bids were made for the mask but 16 were retracted because either the bidder entered the wrong amount or the validity of the bid was questioned. The final selling price was $999,000.

According to the seller, who goes by the name 'Prophunter', the latex rubber mask was sculpted for a parody video by "enigmatic pop artist/sculptor Torro." There were nine masks made and when the production came to an end, the seller he was able to obtain a few. The one for sale was numbered six out of nine and was listed in 'excellent ' condition.

According to the seller:

"No matter what your opinion of the trial is, this is still one heck of a conversation piece. I bet Nancy Grace would love one of these. Fits most heads sizes comfortably."

The mask was put up for auction on Sunday at starting bid of $25. By Wednesday morning it had had skyrocketed to an astonishing $25,100.00.

On July 5, 25-year-old Anthony was found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. She left the Orange County Jail early Sunday with Baez and has not been seen in public since.
