MIAMI (CBS4)-Construction crews will be hard at work in the westbound lanes of SR 836, also known as the Dolphin Expressway, forcing the highway to close at the NW 72 Avenue exit ramp.

Construction Public Information Specialist Oscar Gonzalez said the closure will occur nightly between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. and are scheduled through July 31.

Gonzalez says traffic will be diverted off of NW 72nd Ave/Milam Dairy Rd. exit ramp, likely causing gridlock to westbound travelers.

The closures will allow the contractor to remove portions of the Milam Dairy Road Bridge over the highway.
