D-Wade Wants To "Party With A Purpose" With You
HOLLYWOOD (CBS4) – Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade is ready to "Party with a Purpose" with you and it's all to benefit underprivileged children in South Florida.
Dwyane Wade's "Party with a Purpose" event is set to take place Wednesday July 13th at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Wade will host the event to raise funds for his namesake D-Wade All-Star Basketball Camp and Kids2Camp Fund.
The event boasts a night of gourmet food, fun and entertainment with a goal to benefit disadvantaged and disabled youth.
Attendees will mix and mingle poolside with celebrities and athletes while enjoying exquisite food and drinks, hand-rolled cigars and live entertainment amidst a tropical setting under the stars.
The event takes place from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., poolside at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood.
Founded in 2009, Kids 2 Camp (K2C) was established to provide scholarships to disadvantaged or disabled youth for the opportunity to attend camps. Scholarship recipients are selected by charitable partners based on need or as rewards for incentive programs or accomplishments. The funds generated by this event will provide opportunities for kids to attend Dwyane's camps in both Miami and Chicago.
