SW Miami-Dade Turnpike Detour Postponed
SW MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) – A planned detour on the Florida Turnpike in Southwest Miami-Dade has been postponed until further notice.
The detour was scheduled to begin at 11:00 p.m. Wednesday in the southbound lanes of the Turnpike from Bird Road/SW 40th Street to Kendall Drive/SW 88th Street.
When the closure does take place, crews will install a new massive electronic sign over the lanes and continue construction on the all-electronic tolling system.
