Miami Spa Month Kicks Off With Deals

MIAMI (CBS4)- If there was ever a time to indulge and soothe mind, body and spirit it's now. That's because Miami Spa Month kicked off Friday.

Spa month is actually two months of specialized treatments in participating spas for $99 dollars or less.

"It's a great opportunity for people to come out and experience amazing treatments at terrific price points" said Kirstie Bolitho, spa director at Willow Stream Spa at Fairmont Turnberry in Aventura.

Treatments offered at Willow Stream Spa are featured on the Miami Spa Month menu, and each are 90 minutes.

"The 90-minute deep cleansing facial is specifically designed for each individuals custom skin care needs" Bolitho said.

The 90-minute relaxation massage is a deep tension tackling treatment that melts muscles and successfully soothes stress knots that settle in the shoulders.

Those getting a treatment at the Willow Stream Spa can use all the amenities the spa and hotel has to offer, including the fully equipped gym and exercise classes, like, their daily Pilates classes.

Over on Miami Beach at Canyon Ranch Spa relaxation seekers can receive a stress relieving acupuncture treatment as well as aromatherapy treatments, energy healing massages and more.

For all the spas, Miami Spa Month is about showing off their properties to out of towners and invites locals in to share in the fun.
