9 Year Old Boy Dragged From Burning Northeast Miami-Dade Home
NORTHEAST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) - A 9 year old boy is safe thanks to the heroic act of a neighbor after his home went up in flames Wednesday night.
Just before 8 p.m. firefighters rushed to the scene on the 1000 block of Northeast 212nd Terrace and found the home engulfed in flames.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue spokesperson Dan Herrera tells CBS4 News that a quick thinking neighbor rushed into the burning home and dragged the boy outside to safety.
The fire was so intense , the house next door also caught fire.
Firefighters were eventually able to put out both fires.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
