Heat Declare Friday Fan Appreciation Day
MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – Miami Heat fans may have to adopt the Miami Dolphins' fans credo of "wait till next year," but the Heat franchise wants to let fans know they appreciated them helping make the 2010-2011 season one of the most memorable of all time.
The Heat announced that Friday is "Thank You, HEAT Fans Day." It will be a tribute to all of the Heat fans who helped cheer on the Heat as they ran all the way to Game 6 of the NBA Finals.
The Heat said that all fans will get 30 percent off all regular priced items at the Miami Hoops Gear Stores in Dolphin Mall and at the AmericanAirlines Arena. Season ticket holders will get 35 percent off at the Miami Hoops Gear store at the AAA.
A 30 percent discount will also be offered on every item in Shop HEAT, the team's Facebook store; and the Heat asked fans to put their best photos on the team's Facebook wall.
The team will also put fan elements on the Heat.com homepage and will also put fan photos and graphics on the AAA's 3,400 square foot screen from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday.
