FT. LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami.com) – Federal inmate, and former South Florida Ponzi schemer, Scott Rothstein will return to Fort Lauderdale to face lawyers trying to recoup money from his now out-of-business law firm, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.

Rothstein, 49, ran the $1.4 billion Ponzi scheme that collapsed in 2009. Creditors looking to find money owed to them will grill Rothstein at a later date and time, according to U.S. bankruptcy Judge Raymond Ray.

Rothstein's testimony will be closed to the public and the press, according to the Sun-Sentinel. But, transcripts and videos of the testimony will be available later, the Sun-Sentinel reported.

Rothstein is currently serving out his 50-year sentence in an unknown federal prison.
