NFL Investigating Miami Beach Club's Ad

MIAMI (CBSMiami.com) – An advertisement for a party at a Miami Beach club has gotten the attention of the NFL.

In the advertisement for "Club Play," a launch party on May 20 is advertised to be hosted by Kansas City Chiefs stars Brandon Flowers and Eric Berry; Houston Texans cornerback Kareem Jackson; Oakland Raiders star Jacoby Ford; and former St. Thomas Aquinas, and current Chicago Bears defensive back Major Wright.

It was also said to be co-hosted by several 2010 draftees that included Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas.

The launch party was connected to the Exxxotica adult industry convention held on Miami Beach earlier this year.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the NFL is investigating the ad because all of the players were shown in their team uniforms. Outside of that, there is little the NFL can do or say about the advertisement.

But that hasn't stopped Wright, who is from Lauderdale Lakes and is spending time in South Florida during the lockout, from issuing a denial.

"FYI…..I have NOTHING to do with the Exotic Expo @ the Rosemont! My pic was used without my permission. No Affiliation at all," Wright tweeted out late Tuesday night.
