Body Of Lauderhill Teen Found In Doorway Of Home

LAUDERDHILL (CBS4) – The body of a 19-year old Lauderhill teen was found in the front doorway of his home early Thursday morning, now police are trying to figure out who fired the fatal shot.

Lauderhill police spokesman Captain Rick Rocco said the teen’s body was found by his boy’s uncle who had gone to the home in the 7100 block of Sienna Ridge Lane to have coffee with the boy’s mother.

The teen’s mother told police she had been sleeping and didn’t hear a gunshot. She said she woke up when police knocked on her door.

Rocco said investigators are trying to determine if someone shot the teen or if his death was a suicide.
