40-Foot Open Fisherman Goes Up In Flames
MIAMI (CBS4) - Miami fire investigators are trying to figure out what sparked a fire in an expensive fishing boat overnight.
The fire reportedly broke out around 11:30 p.m. on a 40-foot open fisherman docked at NW 18th Avenue and NW South River Drive.
Miami firefighters used foam to spray down the boat and had it out just before midnight; the boat is a total loss.
Flames from the fire damaged a nearby boat, but it is still operational.
Investigators have not said if anyone was on the boat when the fire broke out.
