Coral Springs Mom Jailed For Allegedly Trying To Kill Kids
CORAL SPRINGS (CBS4) - A Coral Springs mother has been charged with two counts of attempted murder after she reportedly tried to kill her two children by ramming her car into her own garage door.
Kevin Linn said he couldn't believe what he was seeing as he watched his neighbor, 46-year Jane Gonzalez, repeatedly back her Ford Mustang up and purposely slammed it into the door.
"I don't know, you don't know what was going through somebody's mind," said Linn. "It was very intentful and purposeful to back up and go forward, I don't know what she was thinking."
Police say fortunately Gonzalez's two children, ages 7 and 10 who were in the front seat and not buckled up, were not seriously injured.
In addition to the attempted murder charges, Gonzalez has also been charged with two counts of cruelty towards a child and battery on a police officer. She's being held without bond.
